It was a very long, tough, and medicated labor, but we are very blessed that we did not have to have a c-section or episiotomy.
He's 7 lbs, 8 oz, and 19 3/4 inches long. Absolutely perfect and beautiful in every way! Pictures and the story to come.
For now? Cuddling, snuggling and resting.
Congrats girl!! I'm so excited for you!! What made you choose Blake... I'm only interested because my brothers name is Blake as you know!!! I can't wait for the pictures! Grant was born at 11:45 am. Its a good time of day I think. Take advantage of the hospital meals! Love ya!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!! :o) Enjoy everything! I'm so glad you didn't need any major interventions, either! A c-section's not the end of the world by any means, but it's sure not ideal! I couldn't eat anything solid for 48 hours! Not cool! Enjoy the food, like Rachel says! He's beautiful; I love the pics by his proud grandparents on facebook! Don't worry about updating or uploading too quickly. You enjoy that newborn time!
ReplyDeletecongratulations! He's cute, good name, and I'm glad he and you are healthy!

ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see some pictures soon! Congrats mommy!
